OFFICERS are appealing for witnesses and footage following an assault where a woman was reportedly attacked.

A woman in her 40s was reportedly attacked in The Bull in Dock Road, Grays, at around 11:35pm on May 7.

It was following a brief interaction with another woman.

Her attacker is described as white, slim, in her mid-40s with blonde hair.

She was seen getting into a taxi with her boyfriend, and police believe she lives in the area.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Officers investigating an assault in Grays are appealing for witnesses or footage.

“It was reported a woman in her 40s was attacked in The Bull in Dock Road at around 11.35pm on 7 May following a brief interaction with another woman.
