M25 lane in Essex shut as workers clear coolant off motorway surface
One lane of the M25 is shut this morning due to a spillage of coolant on the busy motorway.
The major motorway has one lane shut between junction 29 and junction 30 in Essex due to the incident.
Traffic alerts are reporting that one lane remains closed at this time and five contractor workers are clearing a spillage of coolant from the road surface.
To allow the car to be recovered, lane two will also need to be closed again shortly. The traffic alerts are also reporting that there are four miles of congestion on approach to the area and incident.
Drivers may need to find an alternative route during these times.
