POLICE are appealing for help to identify a man after an elderly woman's card and phone were stolen outside a Tesco.
The woman’s bank card and mobile phone were stolen from her bag outside Tesco in Princes Road, Chelmsford, on October 21. Her card was later used in shops.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are now in a position to release an image of a man we want to speak to in connection with our enquiries.
"Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact us quoting reference 42/239387/21."
