OVER the 20st and 21st December 2007 members of Moose International Corringham Lodge "302" spent over 16 hours collecting at Tesco Extra Pitsea for McMillan cancer Support and St Luke's Hospice Basildon, during this time they accumulated the grand sum of £1,085.66.
This will be added to other monies collected over 2007 and this will be presented during the new year. Publicity officers for Corringham Moose would like to thank Tesco, Pitsea, for once again allowing the Moose to collect at the store and the help given by their staff, but most of all we thank the members of the general public for their generosity over these two days.
Your donations will help these two charities to help you and your families when you need the help the most. Thank you once again.
In the last couple of weeks Moose International Corringham "302" have had rather a very hectic time collecting for their charities, but at the beginning of December they held their Christmas Social at the Shell Club, Corringham.
The theme was a "Cockney Night" which was well supported for 112 members and their friends who attended a sit down Christmas Dinner. There was a profit from raffles which will be added to the charity collections at Tesco Extra Pitsea.
Corringham members again excelled themselves this year by spending over 16 hours with only 14 members collecting for St Luke's, Basildon and the McMillan support Team. Our special thanks also go to the staff of the Shell Club for providing an excellent Christmas dinner.
