POLICE say a suspect has been arrested after specialist officers located a chop shop.
Officers with Thurrock Police and the Essex Police Specialist Stolen Vehicle Examination Team among others surrounded and arrested a suspect yesterday.
In the chop shop, officers discovered a £100,000 Mercedes was being stripped for parts.
Personal property of the car's owner was found discarded in the corner with most but sadly not all being returned to them.
Some of the items were irreplaceable.
