BAFTA-winning actor and presenter Ross Kemp is calling on “fun and determined” people in and around the Colchester area to apply to take part in The Bridge of Lies – an exciting new quiz show hosted by Ross for BBC One.

The Bridge of Lies promises both high drama and high stakes that will keep contestants on their toes and their eyes on the prize as they risk losing it all with each step they take.

The series, which starts filming in Glasgow later this year and will broadcast in Spring 2022, sees teams of four competing for cash by crossing a bridge made up of stepping stones across the studio floor.

Each stepping stone has a different option, and the players must try to get from A to B by stepping on the truths and avoiding the lies in order to cross the floor safely, or risk falling off the bridge and out of the game.

Ross Kemp said: “It’s fair to say I’ve found myself in some dangerous situations in recent years, so I reckon I’m well-prepared for the jeopardy of The Bridge of Lies – but the big question is, are you?

“We’re looking for fun and determined contestants to join us in the studio for this exciting new quiz show.

"There’s even a chance you could head home with the cash jackpot, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it – literally.

"This show is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before, and it’s sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for anyone taking part.”

The show’s producers, STV Studios, are specifically looking for teams of four to get in touch.

They added: “Whether you’re family, friends or colleagues – if you have bags of personality and can think outside of the box, apply now.”

To take part in The Bridge of Lies, email TBOLCasting@stv.tv. Applications close November 1st.
