CROOKS stole "items" from a person with "visual impairment" in a horrific attack.
A police probe has been launched after a person with visual impairment had belongings stolen from them on Wharf Road, Stanford-le-Hope on Sunday.
Investigating officers are pleading with nearby residents to come forward with doorbell or CCTV footage after the incident at around 6pm.

A spokesman from Essex Police, said: "Can you help?
"We are appealing for information after an incident whereby a person who has a visual impairment had some items stolen from them.
"Were you near to Wharf road, Stanford Le Hope on Sunday October 10, at around 6pm, or do you have any doorbell/CCTV footage from this area that may have caught anything to assist in our enquiries?
"Please contact us at ThurrockCommunityPolicingTeam@essex.police.uk quoting the title Facebook appeal 11/10/21 if you have any information."
