A driver who tried to run from police was eventually found hiding up a tree.
Police have arrested the man after he had failed to stop for them while driving in Thurrock yesterday evening.
Officers from dog units at Essex Police and the Met Police were involved in the operation to arrest the man.
Announcing the arrest on Twitter, Essex’s roads policing unit said: “This vehicle has failed to stop this evening and the driver decided that he didn't want to talk to us and ran off.
“With the help of Met Police dogs and Essex Police Dog Section plus National Police Air Service the driver was found up a tree and arrested.”
The Force Control Room cheekily added: “He really didn't want to come out of that tree.
“Fantastic work from you all.”
