A BANK has shut it's doors to customers for the final time at a shopping centre.
The Barclays Bank, at Lakeside Shopping Centre, closed on Friday, prompting major disappointment from customers.
However, Post Office bosses have assured customers that banking facilities are still available nearby.
A Post Office bank is available on London Road in Grays and on Aveley High Street.

A spokesman from the National Federation of SupPostmasters, who operate thousands of Post Office banks around the country, said: "Each of these branches offers banking services - including deposits, free cash withdrawals and balance checks, as well as offering face-to-face access to government services, bill payment, foreign currency, travel insurance and, of course, postal services.
"There are 2,000 free-to-use ATMs installed across the UK post office network too. Post offices are proving vital to retaining people’s access to cash."
