Port of Tilbury and Tilbury Football Club team up for youth day for more than 100 people
THE Port of Tilbury teamed up with Tilbury Football Club to host a a youth day for more than 100 people.
On Saturday the club hosted the event at the Tilbury Football Ground.
Children from ages 4 to 16 took part in training exercises. They all still had the energy for some mini matches afterwards. Trophies were handed out to the young players that impressed the coaches the most.
No one left empty handed with The Port of Tilbury handing out footballs to everyone.
Lee Upton, Youth Secretary at the club said: “A great day was had by all and there were many smiling faces on Saturday. It was a great day.”
