ADORABLE BABY badgers have started to arrive at the South Essex Wildlife Hospital as cub season begins.
The first set of cubs were found in a back garden, collapsed with dog bite wounds.
The second set of cubs were brought in by dog owners after their pup discovered a sett nearby their house.
Badger group volunteers went along to the sett to see if they could return the cub to its mum, but during the survey the dog brought out another cub from the sett which had been sadly killed.
The police were informed.
Two more cubs arrived after being found under a bush by a dog.
The cute cubs are now being looked after by staff at the wildlife hospital in Orsett.
The hospital said: “All of the cubs are doing well and keeping their foster mums very busy and from getting a full night’s sleep.”
