Emergency crews are working to release a driver who was left trapped in their car after a crash in Basildon.
Witnesses at the scene claim that the car was involved in a crash with a lorry this afternoon (April 15), while emergency services are currently at the scene on East Mayne.
Teams are believed to be attempting to free a driver from their vehicle after being involved in the accident.

The fire and ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
A spokesperson from Essex Police, said: "We were called by ambulance colleagues at around 4pm on Thursday, 15 April following a report of a lorry and a car concerned in a collision at East Mayne, Basildon.
"Fire brigade were also in attendance.
"The road was reopened at 5:40pm."
