Diversions will again send drivers via the A1013.

Parts of the A13 will also be closed between 9pm and 5am on Wednesday and Thursday.

The eastbound exit slip road towards the A128 will be closed, while the west side of Orsett Cock roundabout will be shut on those two nights.

Contractors are continuing work to widen the road from two lanes to three. When complete, the widened section will join with the existing three-lane section of the A13, west of the A128, providing a continuous three-lane road in both directions between the M25 and Stanford-le-Hope.
