Firefighters rescue trapped man after crash
FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue a man who had become trapped in his car following a crash.
Crews from Orsett and Basildon were called to Butts Lane, in Stanford le Hope, at 6.35pm last night.
They worked with paramedics for nearly an hour to safely release the casualty from the car and by 7:25pm he had been freed.
The man was left in the care of the East of England Ambulance Service.
