A boy and a man have been arrested following a stabbing in Waltham Abbey today.

Police were called to Caneland Court shortly after 11.45am today (Friday, March 5) to reports a man had been stabbed.

The victim was found with injuries to his arm and head and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Officers attended a separate address in Caneland Court shortly after 12.20pm following reports from colleagues in the ambulance service of an injured man who had sustained injuries to his face and head.

Detectives are currently treating the two incidents as linked and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and robbery and a man aged 44 has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
