The borough's recycling centre has been forced to close as Covid cases see staff shortages.
Thurrock Council has not announced when it will re-open after it was closed yesterday too.
A council spokesman said: "Linford Household Waste and Recycling Centre will be closed on Wednesday 13 January.
"This is due to staff shortages resulting from the increase in local rates of COVID-19 and a need to self-isolate when advised to do so.
"Please store any items you wish to dispose of at the tip until it re-opens.
"The bulky waste collection service is still available - http://orlo.uk/ptDW1 Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your support."
