A CAR was left in flames as its 'wanted' and 'disqualified' driver crashed...after failing to stop for police.
Essex Police's operational support group - which conducts force-wide operations - revealed details of the incident in Ingatestone on Sunday.
Posting on Twitter, the operational support group said: "The disqualified and wanted driver of this vehicle that failed to stop for us then crashed in Ingatestone is extremely lucky to have been able to run off before it caught light.
"He was caught and arrested."
