INVESTIGATING officers have made two arrests after police stormed a party in a church on New Years Eve.
A 32-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man have both been arrested on suspicion of burglary, money laundering, and cannabis cultivation.
They have both been released under investigation.
The huge unlicensed event at the abandoned All Saints Church in East Horndon saw hundreds breach Covid rules and regulations, while police had objects thrown at them.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of public order and drugs offences in the days after the party.
Thousands of pounds has since been raised to help restore the building.

A spokesman from Essex Police, said: "Our enquiries are continuining.
