Police appeal following assault in high street
DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses following an altercation in High Street, Aveley on Tuesday.
Police were called at around 1pm with reports that a man in his 20s was assaulted by four men.
The man had just gotten into his white pick-up truck with a drop side when this occurred.
The four men believed to be in their 20s were driving a silver car.
Police believe this was a targeted attack.
