CORONAVIRUS has seen another festive show postponed, as it has been announced Thurrock’s annual pantomime will not go ahead this Christmas.
The Thameside Theatre in Grays, and production company Polka Dot Pantomimes, decided to postpone this year’s show Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Purchased tickets for the show will be refunded, and customers will be contacted by the theatre box office during the next few weeks.
It comes after the shows at Basildon’s Towngate Theatre and Southend’s Cliffs Pavilion were also halted.
Deb Huelin, Thurrock councillor for Communities, said: “This was an incredibly difficult decision to make as our annual pantomime at Grays’ Thameside Theatre has always been a festive highlight for families and social groups across Thurrock and further afield.”
