A RESTAURANT has reopened its doors at Lakeside Shopping Centre.
Las Iguanas reopened its doors to customers on Monday after it closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The restaurant specialises in the authentic flavours of Latin America, and the popular tapas dishes are back– including favourites such as Brazilian fried chicken.
Las Iguanas Lakeside is reopening under the ownership of a new company called The Big Table, following its successful acquisition of the Las Iguanas, Café Rouge and Bella Italia brands.
The move, which was backed by Epiris, is said to have preserved more than 4,000 jobs across the UK and more than 150 restaurants.
Lucy Harwood, Marketing Director at Las Iguanas, said: “We’re delighted to be throwing open the doors in Lakeside - doing what we do best and starting up the celebration for our guests once again, whether dining out or popping by to socialise with a few cocktails.
“Whilst we promise to be back with a bang with that relaxed Latin vibe everyone knows and loves, we’re taking extensive safety precautions and have introduced enhanced procedures in line with government guidelines to ensure a safe but fun Las Iguanas experience for everyone.”
