A MAN was rushed to hospital after a stabbing in Laindon.

Three ambulance vehicles were called to the scene of the incident at 10pm on Monday near Chenies Drive.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Chenies Drive shortly before 10pm on Monday following reports that a man had been stabbed.

"A man with stab wounds was transported to the Royal London Hospital by road ambulance."

It is not known how serious the man's injuries were.

Essex Police have been contacted for more information about the circumstances of the stabbing.
