MOUNTAIN rescuers were called out after an 11-year-old girl slipped and sustained a leg injury in the Lake District.
Langdale/Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team (LAMRT) attended the incident at Far Easedale, near Grasmere, at around 2pm on Monday.
An LAMRT spokesman said the girl had sustained a ‘nasty leg injury’ and was treated and evacuated.
The incident required 13 team members and took around three hours to deal with.
