DEVOTED fundraisers, who shaved their heads to help Covid-19 patients, have delivered iPads to a hospital ward.
Jo Grosvenor, 40, of Chevy Court, Dovercourt, and Andrea King,48 , who is part of the Harwich Angels community group, raised £1,300 from chopping off their locks.
The devices, which will be used to help patients recovering from the virus keep in touch with close family members, were donated to a Covid-19 ward at Fryatt Hospital, in Main Road, Dovercourt on Tuesday.
Two cakes were also presented to Sue Stratton, who is the Trinity Ward manager, to say thank you for all they do.
Mrs King said: “We brought three iPads and three wipeable cases as well as the cakes.
“It was very touching and the hospital staff members were really pleased.
“It means patients will be able to keep in touch with their families whilst having no visitors.”
