FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in the open in Lee Brockhurst on Monday evening.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 5.31pm with reports of a fire in Lee Hill.
Four fire engines, as well as the incident support unit, were sent to the incident from Prees, Wem, Whitchurch, Market Drayton and Minsterley.
The fire involved trees and undergrowth across an area or 20 metres x 20 metres.
Crews used a hosereel jet and knapsacks to put out the fire, and proceeded to damp down hotspots.
