MORE details have emerged of a gun threat robbery in Grays last weekend.

A man and a woman in a silver Lexus went to Lodge Lane at about 10.30pm last Sunday, for a "pre-arranged meeting", police have revealed.

When they arrived, a man got out of a white or silver car and into the Lexus.

There, he threatened the man inside the Lexus with an imitation firearm and stole a quantity of cash from him. Police have not revealed the amount.

The female driver attempted to drive off, but the Lexus collided with a brick wall, and driveway, writing off cars on the front.

The suspect got out and fled the scene in another car, thought to have been driven by a second man. The victims were not seriously hurt.

He is a black man, aged in his early 20s and about 5ft 5ins and 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing a white hoody.

POLICE BELIEVE IT WAS TARGETED ATTACK

A spokesman for police said: "We are treating it as a targeted incident.

"We are continuing to carry out patrols and enquiries, and are looking to speak to anyone who was in the area but has yet to come forward."
