FOUR men have been arrested in South Ockendon for driving offences.

Officers from Essex Police's Operational Support Group arrested four men after stopping vehicles in South Ockendon yesterday, Tuesday 19 May.

They arrested a 32-year-old on suspicion of drug driving in Araglen Avenue at around 10am and he has been released under investigation.

They arrested a 32-year-old from Pilgrims Hatch on suspicion of theft of a vehicle and possession of drugs after stopping a car in North Road at 10.30am.

He has accepted a community resolution for possession of drugs and is being investigated by another police force following reports the car was stolen from Ilford.

Officers also arrested a man, 39, in Lime Close at around 7.40pm on behalf of another police force following a theft report in Dagenham before arresting a 45-year-old man from Chatham, Kent, in Daiglen Drive at 8.10pm on suspicion of drug driving.

He has been released under investigation.
