A LITTLE boy marked VE Day in style after his mums turned his pram into an RAF spitfire!

Gemma and Lauren Warsap, from Colchester, decided to create the tribute to the fallen to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

Gemma said: “We saw a poster on the community group a few weeks ago about hosting a party in your front garden for VE Day and decorating your house.

“I’ve always loved fancy dress and making things so now we have Chester I wanted to do something with him.

“As we’ve all been stuck indoors with nothing to look forward to we thought we could turn Chester’s pram into a Second World War Spitfire and go round the estate on our daily walk to cheer people up.

“We also had loads of cardboard and recycling left over as we haven’t had any collections so we thought we would put it to good use. It took a lot of paint and sticky tap but we got there in the end.”

Chester, eight months, was also dressed up in a pilot onesie to finish it all off.
