A PHOTOGRAPHER has documented life during lockdown while getting in her daily exercise.

Charlie Alexander, who owns Farlie Photography, has been taking pictures of her neighbours in Layer de la Haye.

So far she has captured 60 households.

Titled Portraits from the Pavement Charlie has been recording a moment in history.

She said: “The idea came about because as a photographer I am always motivated to capture significant moments in time.

“Being kept in the close quarters of the village throughout this I have really fallen in love with my area and community so I wanted to capture it.

“I put a call out on Facebook to test interest and I got a few residents contact me.

“Then after I posted the first portraits on social media I had loads of people wanting to be involved.”

She added: “It has been such a lovely experience to meet so many new people who live in my village or finally put names to faces I see around all the time.

“We have a quick chat and compare experiences of the lockdown, it’s been really nice to connect with people over how they’ve been feeling in lockdown.

“Everyone has been so positive and grateful. I have been blown away by the lovely things people have been saying.”
