A further six patients have died at the trust which runs Colchester Hospital after contracting Covid-19, latest figures have shown.
The data, from NHS England, brings the death toll at the East Suffolk and North Essex trust to 269.
Three of the deaths happened on Sunday, one on Saturday and one on April 28.
Across the trusts which serve Essex a further 19 people have died.
A further three patients have died at the Fryatt Hospital in Dovercourt, taking the total deaths to 19.
Three patients lost their lives at Southend, two people at the Mid Essex trust and two at the Princess Alexandra in Harlow.
There have been three more deaths at the Basildon and Thurrock Trust.
These are the confirmed number of deaths at trusts which run hospitals in Essex:
- East Suffolk and North Essex: 269
- Basildon and Thurrock Trust: 247
- Princess Alexandra: 196
- Mid Essex Trust: 158
- Southend: 158
- Anglian Community Enterprise- Fryatt Hospital: 19
- Essex Partnership Trust: 15
- Provide - Braintree Community Hospital: 5
- Anglian Community Enterprise- Clacton Hospital: 1
