A PRE-school in Runcorn has raised more than £150 to help Claire House Children's Hospice.
Early Years at The Brow pre-school held a superhero day and cake sale to raise money for the hospice which provides care to one of their families.
Nursery lead, Carolyn Pendlebury, explained: "Claire House provides respite care for one of our pre-school families, and we know how invaluable that care is,
"So, we wanted to take the opportunity to be real-life superheroes by raising money for such a worthy cause."
Pre-school children got to wear their favourite superhero outfit for the day.
Meanwhile, parents and staff donated cakes which the children decorated and sold to their families and pupils from The Brow Community Primary School.
Claire Bear the Claire House mascot also made an appearance.
Staff were delighted to discover that they had raised a total of £154.
