PICTURES show collapsed beach huts on Thorpe Bay beach.
Several have been seen to be snapped and broken after high tides and winds swept across Southend.
Storm Ciara has had a devastating impact on the town, with several incidents caused by the bad weather.
Adventure Island has been flooded, the roof has been torn off the Cliffs Pavillion, as well as hoardings being reinforced by Southend Council nearby, seafront roads have been closed.
To make matters worse, Storm Dennis will be hitting Essex at the end of the week.
The storm is not expected to be as bad as Storm Ciara, but a yellow weather warning has been issued for the weekend nonetheless.
