A CARE home raised hundreds of pounds for an Alzheimer’s charity.
Staff, residents, families and friends at Cedar House Care Home in Stanford-le-Hope dressed as elves on Friday December 6 to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.
Everyone came in dressed up as elves and participated in Christmas themed activities.
The care home also held various activities such as a raffle and tombola, and had stalls selling items such as handmade sweet treats.
A great day was had by all and the team raised £674.60 for the Alzheimer’s Society. The residents played bingo, decorated Christmas stockings, and finished with a Christmas afternoon tea.
