THIEVES have broken into a popular Southampton nightclub stealing DJ equipment and large amounts of alcohol.
Two men have been caught on CCTV breaking into Switch on Above Bar Street on Tuesday at 12.28am.
The men, who do not have their faces covered, smashed a window and stole alcohol and DJ equipment.
They also caused damage to the building and smashed up tills.
The men did not steal any money as no cash is kept in the building over night.
Now, the nightclub manager is appealing for witnesses and anyone who may recognise the two men.
He is offering a £500 reward to anyone who can identify the two men via the videos and pictures uploaded onto the club's Facebook page.
He said: " The thieves took a large amount of alcohol, caused criminal damage smashing up tills, which were empty as no cash is stored on site ever.
"Police responded to the scene and conducted a sweep of the building but they had left shortly before they arrive.
"There were two [white] males and maybe a third driver.
"We are asking for people to come forward with information with a reward to stop the spate of local burglaries which are blighting local businesses in Southampton. I know of seven this week."
A spokeswoman from Hampshire Police said: "We were alerted to a burglary at Switch nightclub on Above Bar Street at 12.42am on Tuesday, November 26.
"Officers deployed to the area and found the windows at the side of the property had been smashed.
"A DJ turntable was reported as stolen.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
