MMA star Walter Gahadza cannot wait to be back in the cage at a packed Wembley Arena tomorrow night.

Gahadza, who trains at the Westcliff-based TSG Gym, will be facing Lewis Long on the Bellator fight night.

And the 32-year-old is feeling in good shape ahead of his first fight in five months.

“I’m feeling good leading up to this fight,” said Gahadza, a former Belfairs High School pupil.

“I’ve been working tirelessly to push onto the next level and that will be the case this weekend now.

“I can’t wait to get out there again and show what I can do.”

Gahadza has won 18 of his 22 fights since turning professional.

But he suffered a rare defeat last time out, losing to Oliver Enkamp.

And Gahadza has been putting in the hard work in a bid to make amends.

“My last fight was in June and things have been non-stop since then really,” said Gahadza.

“I’ve done a lot of work to move forward and progress since then and feel as though I have done that.

“I look to grow my mindset after every performance too and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing again.

“This is a fight at the very top but I take every single fight with serious consideration and that’s certainly the case for this weekend.

“It’s going to be good.”

Gahadza’s opponent, Long, has won 16 of his 21 professional fights.

And Gahadza is excited to be facing him at Wembley.

“I’m looking forward to fighting at Wembley Arena as it’s a great place to fight with a really good atmosphere,” said Gahadza.

“It’s close to home as well so I’ll have a few people cheering me on.”

But Gahadza is also keen for more supporters to watch his bout which he feels will definitely be one to remember.

“It’s going to be a clinical performance from me,” said Gahadza.

“I would urge people not to miss out on this one and I’m glad the fight is finally here.”
