FIREFIGHTERS rushed to extinguish a moped fire this morning which is now being treated as a "suspected arson" attack.
Crews from Fareham were called at approximately 6.30am to Vian Close, Gosport, where the moped was "100 percent destroyed by the fire", according to a spokesperson from the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The spokesperson added: "It is being treated as suspected arson and people from control would have informed the police about this."
A spokesperson from Hampshire police said "enquiries are ongoing" regarding the blaze.
They added: "Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote 44190375416."
