Scene - door staff at Moo Moo helped the man
Three teenagers have been charged in connection with a man being chased in to a club by a knife-weilding gang.
A 16-year-old boy from Leigh and a 16-year-old boy from Southend, who both cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with violent disorder and possession of a knife in a public place.
Oliver Cox, 20, of Broadway, Leigh-on-Sea, has also been charged with the same offences.
All three are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.
It follows reports at around 12.25am yesterday that a man was threatened before running into Moo Moos in Warrior Square.
Security at the venue intervened before we arrested three people.
