TWO people were rescued after becoming tired in fast-flowing tide off Swanage.
The pair were seen by Swanage Coastwatch volunteers who raised them alarm on Thursday as they watched the pair making no headway in strong tidal conditions off Peveril Ledge.
The Swanage RNLI inshore lifeboat was launched with both people taken on-board along their kayak and paddle board.
They were taken to the lifeboat station to warm up.
Tom Greasty, helm of the inshore lifeboat, said: “The tidal flow can be dangerous off Peveril and we are pleased they were spotted. If you see anybody in danger please dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.”
