Car fire at Lakeside with large plumes of smoke billowing above shopping centre
A car is on fire in a car park at Lakeside.
Large plumes of smoke can be seen billowing above the shopping centre.
It is believed that the fire is contained to a car in the car park closest to House of Fraser, and the shopping centre is not affected.
Residents have reported that part of the shopping centre has been evacuated as a precaution.
Both Essex Fire and Lakeside have been contacted for comment.
