A man has admitted ten offences in connection with a serious crash that left a woman badly injured.
Leon Turner, 20, was driving a Ford Fiesta that crashed near Leigh Road on the A13 on Tuesday November 27, last year.
His passenger suffered serious injuries including a broken pelvis.
Turner, of Ness Road, Shoebury, appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 19 August.
He admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving, drug-driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision, failing to report a collision, failing to stop for police, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, driving without insurance, failing to give driver details, possession of cocaine and possession of cannabis.
He is due to be sentenced at Basildon Crown Court on Monday 16 September.
