OFFICERS arrested two people after discovering a large amount of cannabis.
The Maldon policing team executed the warrant yesterday evening at an address in Maldon, discovering around a dozen large bags of cannabis, and an office filled with around ten containers of cannabis, that was still being grown and cultivated.
A pair have been arrested in connection with the grow and they remain in custody.
A spokesman for the Chelmsford and Maldon Local Policing Team, said: "The first rule of cannabis cultivation: Don't do it! and certainly not in your back garden.
"Two in custody, caught 'green fingered'."
One of the officers, PC Verrall celebrated on Twitter after a "busy evening" of work.
