Man in court accused of attempted rape in Westcliff
A man has been charged with attempted rape after a woman was assaulted in Westcliff.
Police were called to Milton Road at around 1.25am on Monday August 5 to reports a woman had been assaulted.
Ivan Laksar, 45, of Ashingdon Road, Rochford was arrested at the scene and has been charged with attempted rape.
He is due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday August 6).
