Air ambulance
A woman has been rushed to hospital in a "serious condition".
Residents reported spotting an air ambulance had landed in Mundon Road, Maldon at around 12.30pm today.
Following the reports, the ambulance service confirmed a woman had been taken to Broomfield Hospital after a "serious medical emergency".
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service, said: "Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to an address in Maldon following reports of a woman with serious medical emergency.
"One patient was transported by road ambulance to Broomfield Hospital in a serious condition."
