POLICE have arrested a man following a drugs raid.
Officers from the Chelmsford and Maldon community policing team attended a property in Hunt Avenue, Heybridge this morning at around 8.20am, and carried out a search.
After their investigation, officers found a collection of seven mobile phones, a large sum of cash, and a couple small bags of white powder.
A 21-year-old man from Heybridge has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
He remains in custody while officers' enquiries continue.
A spokesman for the policing team, said: "Busy morning for the team.
"Drugs warrant executed in Heybridge.
"One person has been arrested."
