A THUG who punched a man in a mobility scooter has been put behind bars.
Rachel Kirby, 32, was arrested following reports the man was punched in the face in Clacton on Tuesday, June 18.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "At around 2pm we received reports Kirby had assaulted a woman in Nayland Drive.
"By attending the area, she breached the requirements of a restraining order.
"We also received information that a man who had come to the victim's aid was punched in the face numerous times.
"He was taken to hospital for his injuries."
Kirby, of no fixed address, was arrested on Sunday and charged with breaching a restraining order and assault.
Appearing at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court yesterday, she was jailed for a total of ten months and ordered to pay £150 in compensation.
She was also slapped with a 12 month restraining order.
