TENANTS are being invited to get stuck in during a day designed at improving their community.
Colchester Borough Homes is hosting its latest Make a Difference Day in the town's Dutch Quarter on Thursday.
Residents who live in the area have been consulted by their community housing officer to find out what improvements they'd like to see and on the day Colchester Borough Homes staff will be completing tasks like gardening and repairs.
The public are invited to join in the fun between 8am and 2pm, at John Ball Walk.
Gareth Mitchel, chief executive of Colchester Borough Homes, said: "These days have a proven track record of making a difference to the local community and I would urge anyone available on the day to come along and join the team.”
