WOMEN and girls in Thurrock are being invited to the first ever Thurrock “Women Like Us” festival.
On the day there will there will be a host of taster session for women to get involved with, ranging from clubbercise, pilates, racket sports, health walks and ‘Fight Klub’.
The aim is to encourage girls and women to either try something new, or take their first steps to becoming more active in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
The festival in Thurrock is one of a series taking place around the county inspired by the national This Girl Can campaign and is being organised by Active Essex, Active Thurrock and Impulse Leisure.
The festival of fitness will take place on June 22, from 10am to 1pm at the Civic Hall, Impulse Leisure, Grays.
