I THOUGHT that I would share with you a lovely experience my three-year-old grandson and I came across when we were in Dilkes Park.
He is very adventurous for his age and so likes to interact with other children, whatever their age.
Four teenage lads were playing basketball on the court and my grandson asked if he could play.
The lads were lovely with him and included him in their game.
One of the lads accidentally knocked him over and couldn’t apologise enough and made sure he was okay.
When we left I thanked the lads for their kindness and they said it was a pleasure.
My message is that not all teenagers are monsters that belong in gangs.
Thank you lads for including a very energetic three-year-old. You are all a credit to your parents.
