A LASER tattoo removal specialist in Poole is offering to remove radiotherapy tattoos on cancer patients for free.

Rock & Whites in Ashley Road, Parkstone, was set up last October by Hannah Rose.

Hannah, who has 15 years’ experience of tattoo removal and is also a qualified and registered pharmacy technician, wanted to help cancer patients after her own mum had to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer.

During radiotherapy, patients may be given a pin point tattoo mark on their skin by their radiographer which is used to line-up the radiotherapy machine for treatment. This is to ensure the same area is treated each time.

Hannah said: “My mum has been a constant support and has shown such strength and dignity that offering this service for free seems to be the very least we can do. We are proud to offer free cancer marker removal to anyone who wants it.”
