AN 83-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after a car was in collision with a telegraph pole.
The silver KIA Venga ended up on its roof during the incident on the A350 at Fontmell Magna on Saturday afternoon.
The woman from the North Dorset area has been taken to Salisbury Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Police had to shut the road while the vehicle was recovered.
A BT engineer inspected the telegraph pole which Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Service said had been left in a "dangerous condition" after the crash.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said earlier: "At 1.23pm today, Saturday June 1, a minor injury one vehicle collision occurred on the A350 at Fontmell Magna near Shaftesbury.
